Why Choose DeWitt Dental for Dental Implants?

Permanent Solution

Implants can last a lifetime with proper care, unlike bridges or dentures that need replacement.

Implants look, feel, and function exactly like natural teeth. Most people won't know you have them.

Preserve Jawbone

Implants stimulate bone growth, preventing the bone loss that occurs with missing teeth.

No Impact on Adjacent Teeth

Unlike bridges, implants don't require grinding down healthy neighboring teeth.

Improved Confidence

Eat, speak, and smile with confidence. No worries about slipping dentures or gaps in your smile.

High Success Rate

Frequently Asked Questions

Age usually isn’t the deciding factor. What matters is overall health, gum health, and whether you have enough bone to support an implant. We see many adults get implants successfully later in life. If you’re healthy enough for routine dental treatment, you may be a good candidate.
Most patients say it’s easier than they expected. We numb the area thoroughly, so you shouldn’t feel sharp pain during the procedure. Afterward, it’s normal to have some soreness and swelling for a few days, which is typically manageable with medication and simple aftercare instructions. If anxiety is a concern, we can also discuss comfort options.
Implants are designed to be a long-term solution and can last decades with good home care and regular dental visits. The implant post itself often lasts a very long time. The crown on top may need replacement at some point due to normal wear, just like any other restoration.
That doesn’t automatically rule implants out. In some cases, bone grafting can build support. In others, we may recommend different implant sizes or positions, or discuss alternative replacement options like a bridge or partial denture. We’ll evaluate your anatomy with imaging and give you clear, realistic options based on what will be predictable and stable.
